Betty Salad

DRESSING

Combine in a food processor or blender and refrigerate:

-           1/2       cup                  vegetable oil

-           1/3       cup                  sugar

-           1/3       cup                  catsup

1          -           -                       small onion

1          -           cup                  cider vinegar

1          -           teaspoon          paprika

1          -           teaspoon          A-1 sauce

-           -           -                       salt (to taste)

 

SALAD

Layer into one large bowl, or onto 3 or 4 individual plates:

-           -           -                       lettuce

-           1/2       can                   bean sprouts

-           -           -                       raw spinach

2          -           -                       large boiled eggs (sliced)

-           -           -                       bacon (crisp and crumbled)

A)  Drizzle chilled dressing over layered salad.
